Controversial broadcaster and media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has joined The Honest Bunch podcast as part of its hosting crew.
The announcement was made on Sunday, June 15, via the podcast’s official Instagram page, where a new promotional poster featuring Daddy Freeze was unveiled.
“The Honest Bunch podcast just got more unfiltered. Get ready for hotter takes, deeper convos, and unapologetic honesty. Say hello to our latest addition @daddyfreeze, ” the caption read.
Freeze also confirmed the development on his Instagram page with the words, “A new era has begun.”
Although the post did not explicitly state that Daddy Freeze was replacing Nedu Wazobia, his addition comes four months after Nedu stepped down from anchoring the podcast following a wave of controversy.
In early 2025, social media commentator VeryDarkMan accused Nedu of using the platform to exploit up-and-coming female entertainers in exchange for appearances.
The allegation followed a heated podcast episode where BBNaija star DeeOne claimed that VeryDarkMan was gay.
In response, VeryDarkMan hit back at Nedu with allegations of sexual misconduct and threatened to release a list of names Nedu had supposedly mentioned.
Nedu later addressed the controversy during a press briefing, saying he had no regrets about inviting DeeOne to the show, though he did not directly deny the allegations.
The Honest Bunch podcast is known for its controversial hot takes on relationships, lifestyle, and social issues. With Freeze now onboard, fans expect more intense debates and fearless commentary.
As of press time, Nedu is yet to publicly comment on Freeze’s announcement or clarify his current role on the show.
